In this release our developers have focused on improving and fine-tuning the application's performance, and preparing the way for several exciting new features and updates coming in the next few months.
Themes and Social Site
In preparation for future usability updates, how Themes works has been changed.
Your Social Site that Members and the public sees will not change. Selected themes and customizations will not change.
Themes will only be applied to App Suites that Members and the public can see and use.
If you have an App Suite (e.g. Office, Money) this is not shared with Members or the public (they can't see it), it will use the default Business theme.
When logged in as a user you may notice that your old theme is not being used - again this is only for App Suites that are not viewed by Members and the Public.
If a record has an image, e.g. a contact, or a product, it will appear above the name and related information.
Our developers have been working to re-factor and evolve the workings of the calendar, and the results are:
Better overall performance and responsiveness.
Multi-Location functionality has been improved.
Improved support for reminder emails for multi-location, multi-timezone organizations, to ensure reminders are correct and timely for their events.
Now get alerts when someone who is delinquent scans in - it will ask them to see you. You can customize the message and use audio alerts for when you're busy and not able to be at the computer.
Need to talk with someone? Put a note in the Need Info field and when they scan in PerfectScan will alert them to see you. Don't forget to set up audio alerts, too!
There are two new templates for you, a Contract template that merges price, payment, and terms that you can customize, and an Id card template for standard business cards (10 per page).
Use the Print button on Purchases to print your new contracts or other purchase information for your customers.
